Steve & Marc Will be tackling Le Tour De Vessey 2 on the 31st August & 1st September in aid of Prostate Cancer UK
Five years ago they endured a hard going Le Tour de Vessey 1 in the middle of December cycling from Hornsey to Sheffield in honour of their good friend and much loved Scott Vessey who sadly passed away in 2014, having battled prostate cancer. We managed to raise over £12,000 for Prostate Cancer UK and we now set out to take on Le Tour de vessey 2 to again raise as much money as possible in memory of Scott and for the Prostate Cancer charity.
On tackling Le Tour de vessey 2 both Steve and Marc will be amongst 14 of Scott’s friends and family including his two sons, cycling from Southport to Sheffield over two days on the 31/08/2019 & 01/09/2019 which would have been Scott’s 56th birthday weekend.
Prostate Cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK. Over 40,000 Men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year and over 250,000 men are currently living with the disease.
